It's A GIRL!!

We are so excited that we are going to have a girl! Once I figure out how to set up our printer/scanner/copier thing I will then attempt to scan the ultrasound pics we have and the ones that we will continue to get!

For the the past week or so I have been trying to figure out the color scheme/theme I want to do in baby Sophia's room (hypothetically that is her name, unless we decide on something else when she arrives!) So far I think I have decided on pink, green and brown. I went to Ikea on Saturday and absolutely fell in love with everything baby girl, but refrained to only buying a cute hanging laundry sorter and some little animal finger puppets. But I have a lot of ideas of what I want to do in her room but just need to narrow it down so it's simple, clean, and not too busy...which is a daunting task for me. Also I have decided that I want to do some abstract paintings for our home, but can't quite decide where to start. I have thought about it for a day or two and can't decide whether or not I want to plan what I paint or if I should just start painting and accept whatever it turns out to be like. This post is really random but I haven't posted in awhile so naturally it's destined to be this way!
