Update:

So, this is kind of a mish-mash of all that's happened in the past few weeks:

1. Sydney is gaining weight now...we figured out that my milk supply with diminishing because she started sleeping through the night at one month old. So now I only breastfeed her every once in a while and give her formula most of the time. At her follow up appt at the doc, she weighed 8lbs 14oz! She gained a whole pound in one week!

2. I am doing great with the FLYLady Challenge, my front room is now clean and I am in the organization stage now. I haven't written about it like I have wanted to, but the 30 day challenge seemed to only take me about 15 days, though I am still working on making the habits stick. I have thoroughly enjoyed decluttering my house and my life. Pics to come when I have completely finished the front room!

3. In an effort to make a little money, I decided to sell this headboard since I bought a new-to-us headboard from Saver's that I looooove! I spray-painted it silver and I love it even more! Anyhow, so this is the second picture I took of it (in the first it was not broken). I had set it up against the wall/door that leads to the bathroom from our room to take a pic so I could post an ad on KSL and Craiglist, took the pic, went to bathroom, forgot it was against the door so I opened it, then I heard the crash and crack. I was so upset that I had broken it, even though I was going to probably get $20 MAX out of it. But it turned out to be a blessing in disguise, cause I am using the legs of it and the middle section to do crafts. Pics to come.

4. Family Dinner on Mom Thorne's B-day

5. Sydney was blessed on Sunday, October 24. She was such a good girl and the blessing was so lovely. She wore the dress that I was blessed in and a bow that Grandma Thorne gave her and she looked so cute! We are so happy to have this sweet little girl in our family!

6. The first big snow of the year...can't decide whether or not I was happy or mad about it. I love snow, but hate the cold...go figure! But I am glad it's hot chocolate season!

7. Halloween! We had way too much this year! First we went to trafalga with our friends Katie and John..Michael and I won a ton of tickets! We also played mini-golf and ate dippin' dots-yum! Then we went to Mom and Dad Thorne's to pick up Syd (they watched her while we were at trafalga) and we took some darling pics of her in a carved pumpkin. Grandma had tried before we got there, but Syd didn't love it. But she did good when we tried again, and isn't she the cutest?! Then we went to our friend's house (Jessica and John) and partied with them and the Baxter's. We ate cute little pizzas and played some games until we had to go to a party at our friends in Provo. It was such a fun night full of good food, new and old friends, and cute little babies!

8. And last but not least, I have gone back to work! The first couple days were an adjustment, I may or may not have cried. And Syd has done really well. She loves playing with the new friends and toys they have, and she is practicing sitting up in the bumbo, she is getting there!
